1. Who we are
FindDeals runs FindDeals (the website, apps and business tools). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. What we collect
- Account details — your name, email, mobile number and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email from Google.
- Location — the area you choose, or your device location if you allow it, to show deals near you and their distance. We use it in your browser or app for that; we don’t keep a history of where you’ve been.
- Grabs and activity — deals you grab, save, cancel or redeem, the slot and quantity, your Grab Codes, ratings, notification settings, and which deal pages you open and from where (nearby, search, a category or a shared link).
- Referrals — your referral code, and the phone numbers you choose to invite.
- Support messages — what you send us through the Contact page or the app.
- Business details — for businesses: owner name, business name, phone, address, map location, hours, photos, deals and reservations.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type and request logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
We do not collect payment card or bank details — you pay businesses directly.
3. How we use it
- to run your account, verify your phone number and keep you signed in;
- to show nearby deals, reserve your Grabs, send Grab confirmations and reminders, and let the business verify your code;
- to track savings and referral rewards;
- to give businesses statistics about their own deals (views, Grabs and where customers found the deal — shown as totals, not per person);
- to answer support requests, review businesses and handle reports;
- to prevent fraud and abuse (for example repeated no-shows or fake accounts) and to meet legal obligations.
5. Cookies and browser storage
The website stores your sign-in session, language and chosen area in your browser so you stay signed in and see the right deals. Admin and business tools use cookies needed for signing in. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Grab and reservation records are kept for as long as businesses and we need them for disputes, accounts and legal requirements, and request logs for a limited period for security. When you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. Your rights and choices
- See and update your name, email and language in Profile, and your notification topics in Notifications.
- Turn off device location in your browser or phone settings and choose an area instead.
- Ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account.
- Withdraw consent you have given (for example to location or notifications) at any time.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.
- Complain to our Grievance Officer, and if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children
FindDeals is meant for adults. If you are under 18, use it only with your parent’s or guardian’s consent. We don’t knowingly target children or track their behaviour.
9. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. Passwords are hashed, sign-in sessions expire and can be revoked, and resetting your password signs you out everywhere. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong password and tell us if you notice anything unusual.
10. Changes and contact
We will post changes here and update the date above; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email.
